A busy week feels a lot calmer when you can see all of it at once. This weekly planner puts the whole week on a single page: a box for each day, your three most important things, and one running to-do list for everything else.
What’s inside
- Seven day boxes, Monday to Sunday, with lines for appointments, plans and reminders.
- Top 3 this week: the three things that would make the week a success.
- To do: eight checkbox lines for the smaller tasks.
- Notes: a larger box for ideas, calls to make or a quick meal plan.
It’s undated, so you can start any week and use it all year.
How to use it
- Plan on Sunday evening. It takes about ten minutes. Look at your calendar and write fixed appointments into the day boxes first.
- Pick your top 3. Not ten. Three. Put them in the box at the top.
- Dump everything else into the to-do list. If something has a deadline, move it into a specific day.
- Check it every morning. A quick look at today’s box and your top 3 keeps you on track.
Tips
- Color-code by person if you plan for the whole family: one pen color per family member.
- Keep it visible. On the fridge for family plans, or on your desk for work weeks.
- Pair it with a daily page. On busy days, our daily planner breaks the day into hours.
