Habits stick when you can see your progress. A habit tracker turns “I’ll try to drink more water” into a row of filled-in circles you don’t want to break. This one fits a whole month on one page, with room for your own habits.
What’s inside
- A 31-day grid, one circle per day for each habit.
- Seven starter habits: make the bed, drink eight glasses of water, a 10-minute tidy, move for 30 minutes, read for 15 minutes, plan tomorrow and no phone in bed.
- Seven blank rows for habits of your own.
- Two reflection boxes: wins this month, and what to change next month.
How to use it
- Pick three to five habits to start. You can leave the starter habits as they are, cross out the ones you don’t want, or write your own in the blank rows.
- Keep the tracker somewhere you look every day: on the fridge, on your desk or inside your planner.
- Fill in the circle as soon as you finish the habit. It’s oddly satisfying.
- At the end of the month, write down your wins and one thing to adjust. Then print a fresh copy.
Tips for habits that last
- Make it small. “Read 15 minutes” beats “read more”. Small habits are easier to repeat every day.
- Stack it. Attach a new habit to something you already do, like a 10-minute tidy right after dinner.
- Don’t break the chain twice. Missing one day is normal. Just make sure you don’t miss two in a row.
FAQ
How many habits should I track at once?
Three to five is a good start. Tracking too many at once makes it easy to give up on all of them.
Does the tracker start on a specific day?
No. The days are numbered 1 to 31, so it works for any month. Write the month at the top.
Can kids use a habit tracker?
Yes. For younger kids, a picture chart works better. Try our morning routine chart or reward chart.
